Interior Design Consultant

Interior Design Consultant We are seeking a candidate with prior Builder Design Studio experience to specialize in specification home selections and occasionally offer design guidance and product knowledge to homebuyers as they make interior selections to customize their home. Qualifications & Required Skills: · Must be detail-minded, organized, and creative. · Self-disciplined with excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; this is a high-volume position. · Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. · Willingness to learn and adapt to changes daily. · Must be a team player with a positive attitude. · Must possess effective communication and listening skills. · Provide professional design guidance and convey product knowledge. · Possess a high level of integrity. · Strong follow-up and follow-through skills. Education & Experience: • Education: Interior Design degree preferred. • Experience: 3-5 years in a Builder’s Design Studio setting. • Computer Skills: Excel – Adobe Acrobat – Outlook – PowerPoint – Word Working Conditions: • The Design Consultant role will experience times of high and low volume. Extra work hours may be required to hit agreed-upon builder cycle times. Physical Requirements: • This job does require long periods of standing/walking as well as sample handling, some of which can weigh up to 20 lbs.
