Interior Design Consultant

Job Title: Interior Design Consultant About the Job We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Design Consultant to join our team at Barefield Workplace Solutions Inc. in Mississippi and Louisiana. As an Interior Design Consultant, you will be responsible for providing excellent interior design services to customers, including site verifications, space planning, and installation drawings. The ideal candidate will possess a BS/BA/BFA degree in Interior, Industrial or Architectural Design and have at least 5+ years of experience in furniture/office/space planning. You will work closely with Sales, Account Managers, Project Managers, and customers to ensure conformance to customer requirements, high-quality implementation, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: • Attend customer planning meetings and present plans and information to customers for review and approval. • Conduct field measurements and plan-to-site adherence checks. • Develop and present block/space plans, obtain customer approval, and manage changes and revisions. • Select, develop, and present color/finish boards, obtain customer approval, and ensure complete and accurate plans/specifications are order-ready. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Intermediate PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word. • Solid interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers. • Possess solid knowledge of best practices for furniture design, solid furniture product knowledge, and the ability to learn and apply new product knowledge in a timely manner. • Excellent problem-solving ability, follow-through, strong attention to detail, and highly organized. Salary Estimate: The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.
