Interior Design Consultant We are seeking a candidate with prior Builder Design Studio experience, to offer design guidance and product knowledge to the homebuyers as they make interior selections to customize their home... Qualifications & Required Skills: · Must be detail minded and organized. · Self-disciplined with good time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. · Provide professional design guidance and convey product knowledge throughout the selection process. · Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with tight dead-lines. · Must be a team player with a positive attitude. This position involves interaction with both internal and external customers on a daily basis. · Must possess effective communication and listening skills, with the ability to resolve conflict in a positive manner. · Ability to deliver excellent customer service to the homebuyer. · Possess a high level of integrity. · Willingness to learn and adapt to changes on a daily basis. · Strong follow up and follow through skills. Education & Experience: • Education: 2-4 years’ Interior Design degree preferred. • Experience: 1-3 years’ experience in a Builder’s Design Studio. • Computer Skills: Excel – Word – Outlook – PowerPoint – Adobe Acrobat Working Conditions: • The Design Consultant role will experience times of high and low volume. Extra work hours may be required to hit agreed upon builder cycle times. Physical Requirements: • This job does require long periods of standing/walking as well as sample handling, some of which can weigh up to 20 lbs.
