Interior Design Center Leader - Cleveland, OH

About the position The Interior Design Center Leader is responsible for managing and developing design teams while ensuring high levels of customer engagement and achieving sales goals. This role involves coaching associates, managing design projects, and enhancing customer satisfaction, all while driving business growth through innovative marketing strategies and community involvement. Responsibilities • Manage the overall operations of the design center. , • Implement Ethan Allen's Leadership Principles and drive change initiatives. , • Coach design team associates to meet or exceed sales goals. , • Develop business plans with designers to increase market reach and revenue. , • Engage in grassroots marketing initiatives to drive new business and increase sales. , • Review monthly P&L statements with Market Design Leader and Market Operations Leader. , • Participate in community programs to enhance local market exposure. , • Conduct performance appraisals in accordance with company policy. , • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. , • Provide training sessions for the design center and participate in corporate training. , • Set monthly and quarterly goals with all designers in the design center. , • Contribute ideas for policy changes to support design center growth. , • Ensure proper reconciliation of inventories. , • Propose innovative strategies for business growth. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of five years of experience in interior design, or a High School diploma with ten years of relevant work experience. , • Proven sales background in residential interior design. , • Broad knowledge of interior design and effective sales techniques. , • Supervisory experience is required. , • Strong communication and organizational skills. , • Ability to manage the design process and provide feedback on design projects.
