About this role

Responsibilities: · Maintain accounting for multiple interior design projects including client budget tracking, retainer balance reconciliation, and client invoicing and payments... · Create proposal and invoice sets in Studio Webware · Manage all reimbursable expenses for clients and employees · Payment reconciliation for all projects and the business · Maintain and place all payments to vendors · Run payroll biweekly for employees · Collect and pay sales tax to all necessary states · Client correspondence on all things related to the financial side of a project · Pay all office bills, credit cards, rent, etc. · Create new client contracts · Generate quarterly report indicating business income and expenses Skills: · Proficiency in excel and studio designer is a must · Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills · Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to represent the company in a professional and positive manner · Experience with client contracts is a plus · Experience in the interior design field is a plus Requirements: · Must have at least three years’ experience in small business bookkeeping · Flexible schedule · Starting at 5-10 hours per week with room for growth as company grows · Remote work is an option for the right candidate Compensation: · This is an hourly position and salary is based on experience · Hourly Rate ranges from $25 to $45 per hour · Opportunity to grow with the company and add on more hours in the future Job Type: Part-time Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week Experience level: • 10 years • 11+ years • 2 years • 3 years • 4 years • 5 years • 6 years • 7 years • 8 years • 9 years Schedule: • Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: • Brooklyn, NY 11238: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Brooklyn, NY 11238
