Interior Design Associate

Interior Designer Opportunity at Award-Winning Annapolis Based Firm General Information... We are currently seeking Interior Designers to join our innovative and dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, possess excellent hand drafting skills with a focus on space planning, and have a solid understanding of architectural detailing within a space. Key Qualifications • Proficiency in furniture, fabric, wallpaper, and accessory selection • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively • Capability to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Educational And Experience Requirements • A 4-year degree in Interior Design is required • 2-5 years of experience in the field is preferred Responsibilities • Hand drafting, space planning, and CAD knowledge • Understanding architectural detailing and proficient plan reading • Assisting with fabric, furniture, and wallpaper selections • Managing paperwork, adhering to budget guidelines, and overseeing project processes • Engaging with vendors and sub-contractors, and sourcing materials • Effectively communicating and collaborating within the team • Contributing to window treatment design in both Builder and Residential departments • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly Additional Information If you are a degreed Interior Designer seeking an opportunity to work with our talented team, we invite you to apply by submitting a cover letter, resume, and online portfolio.
