Job Title: Interior Design Associate - Entry Level Location: Gray Design Group Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: The Interior Design Associate will assist project managers in the conceptualization, design development, and execution of interior design projects. This is an entry-level role ideal for recent graduates or those with 0-5 years of experience in interior design. The position offers opportunities for growth and mentorship within a collaborative, creative team. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in creating design concepts for commercial projects. • Support large and small projects. • Source materials, furniture, fabrics, and finishes for projects. • Perform site visits to assess spaces and gather relevant information for design purposes. • Prepare image sessions, color palettes, and design presentations; assist with client presentations and meetings; and prepare meeting agendas and document project meetings. Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree in interior design. • 0-5 years of experience in interior design. • Proficiency in design software such as Revit and AutoCAD. • Strong understanding of design principles, spatial arrangements, and color theory. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of building codes and design standards.
