Interior Design Associate

Interior Designer, 3D and CAD Carole Carr Design is a residential interior design studio working on multiple luxury and high end projects. We are looking for an ambitious interior designer to join our team on a part time contract basis, with the opportunity to grow into a full time role. Responsibilities • Support design development on multiple high end residential projects • Create detailed 3D renderings and visualizations in 3ds Max • Produce accurate technical drawings in CAD • Assist with space planning, finishes, fixtures, and millwork details • Prepare presentation boards, design packages, and documentation • Collaborate with the principal designer and wider team, taking feedback and revising work quickly • Communicate clearly with the team by email, messages, and video calls Qualifications • 3 to 5 years of interior design experience, preferably in residential work • Strong skills in 3ds Max and CAD are required • Very organized, fast worker, fast learner, and fast thinker • Comfortable working on several projects at once and meeting deadlines • Excellent communication skills and strong written English • Team oriented, eager to learn, open to feedback, and excited to grow within the firm Schedule and work arrangement • Approximately 20 to 30 hours per week • Contract position with the opportunity to grow into a full time role • Remote work from home, with regular in person collaboration, about fifty percent of the time between office work and meetings on job sites in the Los Angeles area.
