Interior Design Assistant (with CAD Experience)

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and creative Interior Design Assistant to support our growing design studio. This role is perfect for someone who loves interiors, enjoys working with CAD drawings, and is eager to learn and grow alongside experienced designers. What You’ll Do • Assist lead designer with day-to-day project tasks and coordination • Prepare CAD drawings, floor plans, elevations, and details (AutoCAD/Chief Architect/SketchUp) • Source and organize materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories • Support with presentations, sample boards, and client meetings • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors • Help manage project documentation, schedules, and site visits What We’re Looking For • Degree or coursework in Interior Design (or related field preferred) • Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD required; Chief Architect/SketchUp a plus) • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines What We Offer • Opportunity to work on diverse, high-end design projects • Collaborative and creative studio environment • Growth and learning opportunities in interior design & project management • Competitive pay (based on experience) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Paid time off Ability to Commute: • Scottsdale, AZ 85251 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Scottsdale, AZ 85251: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
