Interior Design Assistant- Entry level

Position Overview: The Interior Design Intern will support our design team with day-to-day tasks including drafting, material sourcing, and project coordination. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is eager to learn and gain practical experience in the interior design field. • Assist in preparing design presentations, mood boards, and material/sample selections • Conduct research on products, finishes, and furnishings • Organize and maintain the materials library • Support in creating drawings, renderings, and floor plans using design software • Assist with site visits, field measurements, and client meetings • Provide administrative support to the design team as needed (emails, schedules, project files) • Shadow and learn from senior designers on active projects Qualifications: • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Interior Design, Architecture, or related program • Basic proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Creative thinker with a passion for design and willingness to learn • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Details: • Part-time position (10–20 hours per week) with flexible scheduling Job Types: Part-time, Internship Pay: $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week Application Question(s): • What are you hourly rate expectations?
