Interior Design Assistant

We’re seeking a sharp and creative Interior Design Assistant to join our boutique studio team. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in the rhythm of creative project management — must be proficient AutoCAD and have the ability to balance scheduling, and install logistics with a strong design eye. You’ll support high-end residential and commercial design projects across NYC, working closely with our lead designer. A chance to get hands-on with the full design process and make your mark within a fast-paced, collaborative boutique studio. ● Project Support: Assist in the development and execution of design concepts for residential and boutique commercial spaces. ● Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including mood boards, material boards, specification sheets, floor plans, schedules, and vendor POs. Material Sourcing: Research and procure furnishings, fabrics, finishes, and accessories that align with project aesthetics and budgets. ● Client Interaction: Participate in client outreach, meetings, take detailed notes, and ensure client preferences are accurately reflected in design plans. ● Site Visits: Conduct on-site visits to assist with measurements, installations, and quality checks. ● Administrative Tasks: Manage schedules, coordinate deliveries, and communicate with clients, vendors, and contractors.
