Interior Design Assistant

Design Assistant - Luxury Interior Design Firm (Los Angeles) OHARA DAVIES-GAETANO INTERIORS, a high-end residential design firm, seeks a Design Assistant with 1-3 years of design firm experience to work alongside our Project Managers and Designers on luxury residential interior design projects. UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF THE PROJECT TEAM DESIGNER AND PROJECT MANAGER YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: • Preparation of client presentations (Powerpoint//Miro/PhotoShop, Space planning, printing, pricing, and maintaining organization of designer selections and presentation format) • Following up with vendors on orders and lead times • Coordination and filing of CFAs and RMAs • Residential Space Planning New product sourcing per designer’s request • Product quoting/pricing • Coordinate and manage project tasks alongside designer and project manager • Communication with vendors and other service providers REQUIREMENTS: • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) • AutoCAD (REQUIRED) • Studio Designer and/or Photoshop (a plus) • Strong detail orientation • Excellent people management skills and team player • Enthusiastic, positive, whatever-it-takes attitude • Residential interior design experience • Space planning experience • Strong oral, written, and organizational skills • Ability to hand sketch • Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment • Excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness If you’re passionate about interior design, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!
