Interior Design Assistant

Interior Design Assistant will work directly with the Principal Designer, clients, and various trades. • Assist in the creation of client presentations, including design concepts, space planning, architectural elements, color schemes, fabric schemes, custom window treatments, and custom furniture pieces. Create 3D renderings and project documentation. • Select materials, furnishings, artwork, and lighting for a variety of projects. • Attend design meetings, assist with note taking, documentation, and interact with clients along with vendors and trades. • Gather quotes, specifications, and images for client presentations. • Manage project timelines and schedules together with design studio assistant. • Work with design studio assistant on procurement and execution phase of the projects. • Assist on select installations and deliveries to ensure clients’ satisfaction and solve any issues that may arise. • Assist with errands and typical studio tasks as needed. This position is an in person, in studio hourly position, requiring between 30-35 work hours per week. The expectation is that the successful hire for this role will be promoted to a permanent, full-time position.
