Interior Design Assistant

Our luxury residential interior design firm has an opportunity for a Design Assistant with strong organizational skills. We are seeking a focused, detail-oriented individual who is interested in joining our tight knit team. We design high-end homes in the San Francisco Bay Area, Wine Country and beyond. Our work has been featured in Elle Decor, Luxe Magazine, and the Wall Street Journal. https://www.nicheinteriors.com The Design Assistant is a key role in our team and is responsible for managing the details and tracking the design decisions that go into each of our projects. An ideal candidate must be able to handle interruptions and shifting priorities with ease. Responsibilities • Creating detailed client presentations • Requesting pricing and details for fabric, rugs, and furniture • Keeping client files up to date • Receiving, organizing and returning fabric and rug samples • Sourcing fabrics and rugs at the San Francisco Design Center • Communicating with vendors, contractors and craftspeople • Delivering finish samples to local fabricators • Maintaining the sample library and keeping client samples organized Requirements • 2 or 4 year college degree in Interior Design • Detail-oriented and highly organized • Proficient in drafting programs (Mac-based), Adobe Creative Suite, Word and Excel • Clear and effective communication skills • Team-oriented, can-do attitude To Apply Please submit a brief intro about yourself and why you want to work at Niche along with your resume.
