Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a strong understanding of design principles. This role involves collaborating with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments that meet their needs and preferences. As an Interior Designer, you will work on various projects, ensuring that each design reflects the client's vision while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Duties
• Collaborate with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget for interior design projects.
• Develop design concepts and present them to clients using sketches, mood boards, and digital renderings.
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup to create detailed floor plans and 3D models.
• Select appropriate materials, furnishings, lighting designs, and color schemes that align with the overall vision of the project.
• Oversee the implementation of designs during the remodeling or renovation process, ensuring quality control throughout.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to project timelines.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and make necessary adjustments to designs as required.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies in interior design.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of lighting design principles and budgeting for projects.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on sales techniques to effectively present ideas to clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• A keen eye for detail with strong problem-solving skills related to space planning and functionality.
• Previous experience in contract work or remodeling is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.12 - $30.00 per hour
