Interior Design Assistant - 24-69885

Job Description: As an Interior Design Assistant, you will be assisting the Renovation team answering Franchisee questions and reviewing design packages. They may also need to assist in writing Property Improvement Plans for Architectural renovations from time to time, depending on needs. Timely response is critical for this role and taking initiative is a key to the overall success of this function. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in interior design forms a FIDER or CIDA accredited program or equivalent. • 1-2 years hospitality design experience. • Knows AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, InDesign, Excel • SPEXX software knowledge is a plus, but not required. • PIP Writer is a plus, but not required. • Confident public speaker comfortable interacting with Franchise hotel owners. • Experience preparing design presentations, design mood boards, reviewing shop drawing submittals. Key Skills: • Must have hospitality design experience: 1-2 years • Hospitality experiences a huge plus and preferred • Role not doing design work. It's a supportive role, supporting designers. The hourly range for roles of this nature are $30.00 to $50.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
