Interior Design Assistant

Elms Interior Design is a vibrant Interior Design firm focused on high-end residential projects. We are seeking a full-time Interior Design Assistant to join our talented team! This role provides multiple areas of support to the Principal and Project Managers to facilitate productivity and enhance our client’s expectations. The best person for this position is highly detail oriented and super motivated to thrive in a dynamic creative environment. The Design Assistant role also entails being a quick learner while seamlessly pivoting between multiple tasks. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, take direction well, anticipate the needs of the team and manage a fluid work-load. The Design Assistant contributes to all areas of the project process from vendor correspondence, gathering of estimates and preparing client proposals to updating schedules and order tracking. In addition, the Design Assistant will have a wide variety of tasks from administrative to sample library organization. 1-2 years of experience in residential Interior Design is preferred. Proficiency and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Sketch Up, InDesign and Photoshop is required.
