Interior Design Assistant

Full-time Interior Design Assistant Job Description: This position entails assisting the lead designer and project manager in overseeing multiple interior design projects at one time, which will allow the qualified candidate to be exposed to all aspects of the design process. Candidate will be responsible for overseeing all CAD operations for multiple projects. It provides a great opportunity for growth for someone with a long-term vision. Our office hours are M-F, 9 am – 5:00. Responsibilities: • Creating and updating floor plans, elevations, electrical plans and custom furniture drawings in AutoCAD / Illustrator. • Creating work orders and design boards • Onsite measures • Communicating/coordinating with vendors and work rooms • Writing purchase orders for sold items • Material procurement / finish / fabric combination options Job Requirements: Qualified candidate must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. Must have proficiency in AutoCAD or Illustrator. Must be a team player who communicates effectively, is punctual, organized, extremely detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
