Interior Design Assistant

Company Description Interior Design Firm... Role Description This is a part-time to full time (32-40 hours/week) on-site position for an Interior Design Assistant at Peridot Interiors Inc. located in downtown Wilmington, NC. The Interior Design Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Principal Designer with all aspects of interior design including: resourcing materials, space planning, communication, CAD drawings, and furniture selection. Our design software for resourcing and purchases is HouzzPro. The assistant will work closely with the design team to support various projects and ensure smooth operations. Qualifications • Experience in space planning and interior design • Strong communication skills • Knowledge of floor plans and furniture selection • Attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work well in a team and individually on multiple projects • Proficiency in design software (e.g. AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Vectorworks) is required • Previous experience in the design industry is preferred but not required • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design is required
