Interior Design Assistant

We're Expanding! Cashmere & Company, a Newport Beach Interior Design Firm, is looking for the right candidate to fill a newly created Part Time Design Associate position. Responsibilities... The Design Associate will work part-time, 3 days per week, on interior space planning & project management. They will work side by side with the lead designer on extraordinary projects from start to finish!! Qualifications • Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a design firm • Knowledge of Sketchup and CAD programs • Must be able to collaborate and take leadership from our head designer • Cooperative worker and team player • Manage basic bookkeeping and office tasks crucial for the smooth operation of our creative firm. • Process and track orders for multiple projects using Excel spreadsheets. • Support marketing initiatives, including content creation and management for Instagram and other platforms. • Maintain digital and hardcopy records binders, ensuring all documentation is organized and readily accessible. • Utilize design experience to provide insights and assistance across various projects, where applicable. • Assist with administrative duties as needed to ensure the smooth functioning of the office. • References & Design Portfolio or Design/Project Images required with Resume Submission Job Type: Part-time Pay: approx. $30.00 per hour (opportunity for more based on experience) Expected Hours: 24 per week Schedule: 8-hour, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Work Location: In-person Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 per week Schedule: • 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
