Interior Design Assistant (Internship)

HR Bull Consulting is seeking a talented and creative Interior Design Assistant to join a leading local interior design firm in Greenwich, CT. As an Interior Design Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the Lead Interior Designer in a variety of ways. Your expertise in communications, marketing, project management, and overall design concepts will contribute to the success... of our projects and client satisfaction. Job Responsibilities and Duties: Support Lead Interior Designer with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget constraints. Order samples from vendors for enhanced client presentation. Help prepare detailed design plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Photograph project progress timeline and finished project outcome. Conduct site visits and acquire measurements to assess existing conditions and ensure accurate design implementation. Facilitate client project communication via phone, email and official letters. Create comprehensive project documentation including cost estimates, invoices, and project timelines. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Develop and promote marketing materials on social media showcasing company design services. Qualifications: Associate's degree required, ideally in marketing, communications, business or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Experience in customer service and/or client relations required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and project stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent creativity and design skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail. Experience in social media management preferred. Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant design tools preferred. Ability to travel to client job sites as required.
