Full-time interior design, construction and architectural firm seeks a full time Design Assistant/Interior Designer. Duties would include managing the library of manufacturer literature and samples, assisting designer with product information and research. receiving and filing new samples, organizing, and maintaining up-to-date fabrics/samples. Be able to maintain organization of fabric books, flat folds, trims. wallpaper books, finish samples, building products and books/price lists. Learn the resources on hand to support designers, and study applications of resources, including contacting vendors and gathering specific information as well as ordering. Design knowledge a plus, be accurate / efficient, detail-oriented, self-starter, must be able to retain information and pass it along accordingly and accurately.
