Interior Design assistant

High end millwork company specializing in custom doors, wall paneling, closets, cabinetry, kitchens, and furniture Luxury Decor & Bespoke Solutions is seeking a certified Interior Designer. The ideal candidate has a strong background in custom project management and expertise in coordinating all facets of Interior design. Job Type: Full-time Pay: TBD Primary responsibilities will include: -Deliver a full range of project design services, including contributing to the development of interior design concepts, finish and furniture selection, and documentation for a variety of custom projects -Assist in developing and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and consultants -Produce specifications and CAD drawings such as floor plans -Ability to prepare project layouts according to client requests -Delivers presentations -Prepare client quotations sometimes using different currencies -Familiarity with different metric systems -On site measurements and photos -Excellent English verbal and written skills -Other duties as assigned by manager Job Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in design with 2+ years of experience -Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites and other modeling or rendering software -Be proficient in AutoCad -Demonstrate leadership and exceptional interpersonal skills -Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage assigned tasks on multiple projects simultaneously -Self- starter who excels in a highly collaborative, creative, and ever-changing organization. -Demonstrated knowledge of design, detailing, materials and ADA requirements -Must have valid work authorization for the US. -Coordinates with other professionals such as Italian designers and carpenters to ensure job success ***Portfolio Required: when submitting your resume, please include portfolio OR work samples to be considered.
