Interior Design Assistant for Remodeling Company

MOSAIC Design + Build | Dunwoody, GA MOSAIC Design + Build, a leading Atlanta residential design-build remodeling firm, is seeking an Assistant Interior Designer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a new or early-career designer who wants hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a clear path for growth. We are a full-service design-build firm, meaning our team is involved from concept through construction, and we are looking for someone excited to be part of that full process. About the Role You will support our design team with a mix of creative design, technical drawings, and project coordination. You’ll gain exposure to real projects, real clients, and real construction. Key Responsibilities Develop as-built drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderingsAssist with construction documents and design revisionsParticipate in client meetings, measurements, and documentationSupport product selections, pricing, purchasing and receivingHelp manage selections, and approvals in JobTreadAssist with ordering, tracking, and quality control of materialsVisit jobsites to stay connected to the construction process What We’re Looking For Strong interest in technical drawings, detailing, and constructionDesire to be involved from design through buildOrganized, detail-oriented, and proactiveStrong communication and teamwork skills Qualifications Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related fieldInternship or early experience preferredFamiliarity with design software (Chief Architect or Revit)Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace Our Culture At MOSAIC, we believe in being One Team, working collaboratively across design and construction to deliver the best results for our clients.
