Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Opportunity for advancement Approximately 30/hours week Job Summary High-end residential interior design firm based in Pittsburgh, PA seeking an experienced Interior Design Assistant to join our team! This position directly supports Principal Designer/Owner. The ideal candidate has strong organizational, communication and project management skills. The role assists in the development of design concepts, sourcing materials and furnishings and collaborating with contractors and builders. Must be able to multitask and handle multiple projects at once. Responsibilities • All phases of interior design process: produce floor plans, elevations and schemes. • Assist in managing and tracking order deliveries and installations • Maintain project budgets and schedules • Complete administrative tasks such as creating quotes, invoices, and purchase orders • Stay updated on interior design trends and emerging products in the market • Meet with potential and current clients to present design plans, take site pictures and measurements • Order fabric and project materials • Use computer software to draft layouts • Serve as Liaison between Principal Designer and Client • Work within client budgets and needs to create the best space for them • Stay updated on interior design trends, emerging products and technical advancements in the market Qualifications • BS Degree in Interior Architecture or Design • 2 years minimum design work experience • Strong computer skills, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite, Photoshop, and Canva • Excellent customer service skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills Benefits/Perks • Competitive Compensation • 401(k) matching • Small Team Work Environment • Flexible Work Hours • Career Advancement Opportunities • ( Does not include Health Insurance )
