About this role
Artemis Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to support our partnered clients design team on residential construction projects. This role is ideal for someone passionate about interior design who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants hands-on experience bringing residential spaces to life.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist Interior Designers Senior Interior Designer with residential home remodel and new construction project development from concept through completion
• Assist with material and finish selections necessary for construction project completion such as flooring, cabinetry, countertops, tile, lighting, and fixtures
• Prepare samples and presentations for clients
• Create and revise floor plans, elevations, and details using CAD software
• Help maintain and organize design libraries and samples
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and construction teams to ensure design intent is executed
• Obtain quotes, ensure budgetary needs are met, order products and materials, track orders and deliveries
• Assist with client meetings, walk-throughs, and selections appointments
• Update project documentation, specifications, and design schedules
• Data entry and organization
Qualifications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field (or currently pursuing)
• Strong interest in residential interior design and residential construction
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in CAD software (Chief Architect a plus)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferred Experience
• Internship or entry-level experience in interior design or residential construction
• Knowledge of residential materials, finishes, and furnishings
• Experience working with builders, contractors, or vendors

💰 Competitive Salary & Benefits – $50,000-$60,000yr based on experience.
