Interior Design Assistant

Company Description Small multifamily design firm based out of Houston, TX that focuses on designing around a budget without compromising the integrity and quality of the design. Role Description This is a contract role for an Interior Design Assistant based in Houston, TX with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for some work-from-home flexibility. The Interior Design Assistant will assist in various tasks, including creating design concepts, preparing floor plans, coordinating furniture selections, and supporting space planning initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with clients and team members to ensure project goals are met effectively and efficiently. Qualifications • Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning • Ability to create and interpret Floor Plans • Strong skills in selecting and arranging Furniture to meet design objectives • Excellent Communication skills for client interactions and teamwork • Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple tasks • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is a plus • Previous experience or education in interior design or a related field is preferred
