Interior Design Assistant

Job Description: Interior Designer Overview: We are seeking a talented and highly organized Interior Designer Assistant to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for our clients. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to bring their vision to life. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your design skills and make a significant impact on the built environment. Duties: - Collaborating with lead designer and clients to determine the design preferences and requirements, budget and timeline - Create detailed design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings - Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories for each project - Coordinate with architects and contractors to ensure design specifications are met - Provide guidance on lighting design, color theory, and space planning - Utilize software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and CAD to create accurate drawings - Present design concepts and proposals to clients for approval - Oversee the installation of designs and ensure they meet quality standards - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in interior design Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in Interior Design or related field - Proven experience as an Assistant Designer or similar role - Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp - Strong knowledge of lighting design, color theory, and space planning principles - Excellent communication, organization skills and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Sales skills to effectively communicate the value of design solutions If you are a talented Interior Designer with a passion for creating beautiful spaces, we would love to hear from you.
