Interior Design, Architecture or Revit Drafter

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Architectural Drafter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed architectural drawings and plans that reflect the vision of our projects. You will collaborate closely with architects and designers to ensure that all designs meet client specifications and adhere to building codes and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles, proficiency in drafting software, and a keen eye for detail. Duties • Develop detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and Rhinoceros 3D. • Collaborate with architects and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications. • Draft construction documents that comply with local building codes and regulations. • Apply color theory principles to enhance design presentations and client proposals. • Participate in project meetings to discuss design concepts, revisions, and timelines. • Create and modify civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD including grading plans, drainage plans, and utility layouts (No civil design experience or design required.) • Review and refine drawings for clarity, accuracy, and visual presentation • Typical Scope of Work Includes Site development and grading plans Drainage and storm water quality design Roadway and utility infrastructure design • Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation. Requirements • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, PDF editor such as Bluebeam • Familiarity with architectural drafting standards and building codes. • Understanding of color theory as it applies to architectural design. • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. • A degree or certification in architecture, drafting, or a related field is preferred. Benefits: . Currently available 40 hrs. sick time per year, No PTO, No Health Insurance . Working hours: Full time or Part Time, Monday - Friday 9 AM – 5 PM, Closed on Bank Holidays . Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications .
