Interior Design and Sales

Under new management, we have decided to expand our team and are seeking a talented, motivated Interior Design and Sales consultant to work in our newly renovated Michigan Design Center location (Troy). We are looking for someone who has a background in both sales and interior design, is goal oriented, appreciates the limitlessness of commission sales and is excited about not only achieving targets, but exceeding them. A motivated design consultant who excels in this position has great potential to double their income with their earned commission. We are seeking someone who will strive to succeed, is independent, flexible, reliable, has an eye for design and is interested in a combination of both inside and outside sales. • Note - Salary plus commission is negotiable depending on experience. Responsibilities: • Develop and build relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing expert advice on tile selection and design • Proactively generate leads and seek out new business via social media platforms, cold calling, emailing and office visits (car is required) • Develop strong knowledge of our extensive product range, highlighting the interior design features, benefits and versatility of each collection to clientele • Generate Sales leads, actively prospecting new clients and following up on potential business opportunities • Conduct product presentations to educate clients about our offerings • Follow up on client leads, inquiries and ongoing projects diligently • Drive sales by meeting and exceeding monthly targets • Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge and competitor analysis • Utilize social media platforms to proactively generate leads, engage clients and introduce them to our products Qualifications: • Previous experience in the sales and interior design industry, preferably within the tile and stone, and/or interior design sector • Ability to work independently while also being a team player • Highly motivated and goal oriented with passion for exceptional customer service • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and customer demands • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively • Reliable, punctual, ensuring consistent follow-up with clients • Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media.
