Interior design and remodel construction Project Manager

Interior design firm looking for a Remodel Construction Project Manager. Our clients have hired us for the design of their remodel spaces, and then to implement the designers visions. You will work closely with the designers, sub-contractors, and clients to make sure the projects go smoothly, on budget, and on time. We’re looking for someone with a great attitude, who’s a team player and is highly customer focused. You will work on multiple projects at any given time, and need to be able to provide the highest level of quality and customer service possible. Previous experience of remodel construction is a must. You are: · Customer Focused - We love our clients, and their satisfaction during and after completion of the job is everything. · A Communicator- You will work daily with the designers, the sub-contractors, and the clients, and need to be able to clearly and positively communicate with all. · Organized - Lots of details to be tracked and executed on, you need to be extremely organized, have a good memory, and keep great tracking systems. Speed and accuracy is key. · Creative and Quality Driven - Need to be able to think on your feet, solve problems as they come up. You will need to ensure the highest levels of quality. You will be responsible for making sure the details are taken care of, and the designers plans are executed in detail. You will need a sharp eye to spot problems before these arise. · Positive - You need to have an optimistic approach and solve things in a positive way. · Efficient- You are great at managing your time, and plan your days in the most efficient ways. You will work on many projects at once, but still make every client feel like they are the only client. You will: Work together with the designers and sub-contractors to create budgets, meet at project site early on with sub-contractors for bids, receive bids and quotes, put together estimates. Work in Excel daily, be proficient in Word and PowerPoint, speak and write perfect English. Create timelines and handle scheduling, with daily communications with subs and clients. Do periodic site visits to construction sites, to ensure design is followed, check progress, etc. Work with purchaser to get materials to the sites, check materials, ensure timely deliveries. Solve problems as they arise in creative and efficient ways.
