Interior Design And Architecture Intern

Our team focuses on residential design projects in San Diego, CA and beyond. Role Description: The Interior Architecture Internship is for students currently studying or have recently completed a degree in interior design or architecture. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with technical drafting using software, concept development, preparing mood boards, and supporting space planning and layouts. The intern will help with material, fixture, and furniture research, organize product specifications, and contribute to design selections. Qualifications: Foundational interior design and architecture skills, including space planning, drafting, and an understanding of residential design principles.Advanced experience with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or Enscape.Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail, with the ability to support material, finish, lighting, and furnishings selections that align with project concepts and client needs.Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Interest in client-centered design, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in a mentoring environment.Prior studio or project experience is beneficial but not required. Requirements: Must currently reside in San Diego, CA.Reliable transportation.Unpaid, hands-on work experience.Typical workload: 15-25 hours per week.Hybrid work environment.Start Date: September 7th (or sooner).
