Administrative Assistant - AR/AP & Procurement Support (Furnishings Industry)
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: Approximately $25 per hour, depending on experience.
Location: Woodstock, GA
A dynamic and growing interior design firm in Woodstock, GA, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative, accounts receivable/payable, and some procurement experience (ideally within the furnishings, building, or related industries) to contribute to exciting projects. Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) processes, including preparing invoices related to procured furnishings and following up on client payments.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) tasks, such as processing and reconciling vendor invoices for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
• Assist the Procurement Specialist with various procurement-related tasks, including:
• Gathering information and basic research on potential vendors and products.
• Assisting with the preparation of basic quotation requests.
• Maintaining procurement-related documentation and records.
• Potentially assisting with order tracking and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records within QuickBooks.
• Utilize Excel for data entry, organization, and basic reporting.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal team members.
• Perform other administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Requirements & Other Qualifications:
• Proven experience in an administrative role.
• Solid understanding and experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
• Some experience in procurement, buying, or sourcing is required, ideally within the furnishings industry (multi-family or retail) or a related field such as the building industry.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• No weekends
