Interior Design

SHD employs passionate, energetic and creative individuals. While we are not actively looking to hire at the moment, we are always open to receiving resumes of individuals who would like to join our team for future opportunities. The candidate must be comfortable working with projects and clients on a range of activities from schematic design to construction administration and everything in between. Multi-tasking and willingness to learn/adapt is a must. Responsibilities include but not limited to: collaboration with architects, space planning, development of interior concepts, drafting in ArchiCad (3D modeling software), meeting with clients, selection of finishes and materials, development of detailed plans and specifications, casework design, furniture and equipment specification, lighting and RCP’s, creating FF&E budgets, maintaining a library, working with engineers/consultants/vendors/contractors, renderings and other graphic presentations for clients.
