Interior Book Designer

A company is looking for a Designer, Interiors to join their interior book design team. Key Responsibilities Manages all aspects of interior 1-color book design, including consultation and follow-through to bound book Creates design work for book interiors, including conversions and original designs Generates composition of rough first pass, reviews subsequent passes, marks corrections, and reviews proofs Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in 1-color print book publishing Mastery of Adobe InDesign in Mac OS Mastery of typography and the printing process Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Familiarity with manuscript tagging or HTML is a plus
