Interior Architectural Designer – High-end + multi-family residential interiors

Location: New York, NY Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually Job Description: Our client is a well-established New York City–based architecture and design studio with a strong reputation for delivering sustainable and high-quality projects. With a portfolio spanning residential and mixed-use developments, they are particularly recognized for their expertise in creating thoughtful interior environments that balance function, aesthetics, and well-being. We are seeking an Interior Architectural Designer to join their team. This is a full-time, in-office role ideal for a creative and detail-oriented designer with at least 3 years of experience. The successful candidate will contribute to interior-focused projects, including high-end and multi-family residential developments. Responsibilities will range from concept design and space planning to material and finish selection, detailed drawings, and coordination with consultants. This position requires strong design ability, technical proficiency, and the drive to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio environment. The requirements of the role are: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in interior architecture or design Degree in Architecture or Interior Design Experience in high-end or multi-family residential interiors preferred Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Suite; familiarity with SketchUp, VRay, Enscape, or AutoCAD a plus Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Ability to coordinate with consultants, vendors, and clients Interest in sustainable design and healthy materials is a plus About Highline: Global recruiters specializing in architecture & construction in London, Paris, and New York.
