LHH is working with a multi-billion dollar client on the fortune 500 list, who is looking for a Facilities Space Planner. This person will plan the utilization of office space with requirements of organizational efficiency, and available facilities and funds. They will be responsible for developing and recommending long-range plans to meet future office space needs, and formulate, recommend, and ensure building code compliance (NFPA, ADA, OSHA, local and national codes, maximum room occupancy, egress, aisle width, etc. with ability to research, interpret and implement said codes) with approved standards and policies relating to office space and furnishings. Duties: • Work closely with the client, to become a key user of the LM Buildings (IWMS) tool for planning and moves. • Interacts proactively with client main point of contact and supports miscellaneous requests for plans such as Facility Management and Project Managers. • Utilize computer assisted design/drafting equipment (AutoCAD 2019 software) to develop designs. • Meet, coordinate, and oversee outside contractors/vendors to accomplish tasks. • Drafts detailed multi-view drawings of all aspects of space planning. Highly proficient using AutoCAD 2019. • Responsible for setting up and maintaining an organized file system for drawings, updating drawings in LM Buildings. • Maintains the buildings floor plans and site data, perform audits, and run valuable reports for key facilities decisions. Requirements: • Associates Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline required, or equivalent experience/combined education • 4 years of professional experience with AutoCAD • Candidate should have a background in a design, space planning related field. Candidate should demonstrate education and/or experience with the use of AutoCAD, IWMS (Tririga or similar), and Microsoft Office tools. • Knowledge and experience with local and national codes, including building, egress, fire safety, etc. • Experience with project management and estimating. • Mus have operated a CAD program in a commercial facility environment for the least 3-5 years
