Interior Architect

Interior Architect / Interior Designer Job Summary: This is a mid to senior level position that presents an opportunity for an experienced Interior Architect/Interior Designer to join our team in Glastonbury, CT. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience working as an interior architect or interior designer in the corporate market. Responsibilities: • Experience with the architectural design process and integration of all aspects of Interior Design, including programming, planning, design development construction documents, construction administration, and overall project execution • Good interpersonal skills, excellent listening, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of an effective team • Self-starter, responsible, organized, highly motivated, and detail orientated • Management of project budgets, schedules, consultants, staffing, resources, and general business practices • Ability to direct, organize and mentor junior staff with oversight of their activities • Ability to lead clients and project teams from initial concept through construction completion • Contribute to the growth, development, and success of the corporate market practice • Bachelors degree in Architecture or Interior Design (NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer) • Experience with Revit Business Development: • Lead and/or contribute to proposal development • Work with market leadership to identify and pursue Interiors/Corporate Market prospective clients and opportunities • Participate in project team interviews as appropriate • Active participation in local professional organizations
