Job Title: Interior Architect / Interior Designer Design with Purpose We seek a skilled and passionate interior designer who can merge architectural principles with creative vision to craft immersive spaces that balance aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. Your Key Responsibilities: • Holistic Design Approach: Synthesize architectural elements and interior design principles to create cohesive and impactful environments. • Space Planning Expertise: Develop innovative space planning solutions that optimize user experience, flow, and functionality. • Technical Proficiency: Prepare accurate construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, ensuring compliance with building codes and standards. • Material and Finish Selection: Specify finishes, materials, and furniture that enhance the design aesthetic and meet project requirements. • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into functional and visually stunning spaces. • Sustainability Focus: Incorporate sustainable design principles and eco-friendly materials to create environmentally responsible interiors. Your Qualifications: Must-Haves: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture. • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in both interior design and architectural principles. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant design software. • Familiarity with building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design practices. • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Nice-to-Haves: • NCIDQ certification or architectural licensure. • LEED accreditation. • Experience with diverse project types, including commercial, residential, and hospitality. • A portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and technical expertise.
