Installation Specialist

Position: Installation Specialist | Full-Time Lee Douglas Interiors is a full-service commercial and residential design firm servicing clients, builders, outside designers and offering a retail storefront to the public, stocking furniture, accessories, and artwork. POSITION OBJECTIVE: Lee Douglas Interiors is looking for an Installation Specialist who will rock our socks off. Although the Installation Specialist will work as part of our internal warehouse team, this role will suit a skillful and self-motivated installer who works well independently. The Installation Specialist is responsible for safe product handling during the delivery and installation process. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO APPLY IF YOU HAVE: • A clean MVR • Demonstrated Experience Using Hand-held Power Tools, Wall Fasteners, and Wall Anchors • Experience Installing Draperies & Blinds • Comfortable Working on Ladders and In Closed Spaces • Positive & Professional Attitude • Carpentry Skills • Ability to Read a Tape Measure to the 1/16” of an Inch • Ability to Problem Solve Independently BONUS POINTS FOR… • Knowledge of Merchandise Handling or Receiving Experience • Construction Industry Experience • Cabinet Installation Experience • Driving Oversized Vehicles, CDL not required • Warehouse Tool Experience WHAT TO EXPECT: The Installation Specialist will perform high energy tasks at a fast pace and is a jack of all trades. This role requires physical activity and labor each day. If you are not willing to be on your feet throughout the day and travel with occasional overnight stays, this job may not be for you. More Specifically: • Installation of Artwork, Draperies, & Blinds • Remodel Tasks (demo, trim work, etc.) • Assembly & Delivery of Furniture • Follow Schedule of Daily Appointments • Payment Collection • Other Duties as Assigned by LDI Leadership Team • Must Timely Report to Work as Scheduled by LDI Management We are quirky and fun; we work hard and play hard.
