Interior Design Specialist We are seeking a skilled and creative Interior Design Specialist to join our team. As an Interior Design Specialist, you will be responsible for inspiring customers to express themselves in their home by providing expert design advice and assistance. Key Responsibilities: • Utilize your knowledge of interior design to assist clients in one-on-one consultations in the store and in-home regarding the design of their living spaces to drive sales. • Perform productive in-home consultations including measuring and assessing the client's living space to create accurate design plans. • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve and exceed established sales and productivity goals. • Provide World-class service standards to assist customers with special services such as gift wrapping, gift registry, locating merchandise, catalog/internet orders, and furniture orders. • Demonstrate superior product knowledge of the entire design studio assortment, including features and benefits. • Develop strong communication, clienteling, and customer follow-up skills to build lasting relationships with customers. • Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders within various sales channels. • Experience working with the elements of design is preferred. • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • A minimum of 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience is required, preferably in specialty retail. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time. • Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 75 lbs using appropriate equipment and safety techniques. Availability: • Full-time associates must have open availability to meet business needs. • Part-time flex associates must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, including two regularly scheduled shifts on Saturday and Sunday and two during the week.
