In-House Interior Designer and Procurement Manager

Qualifications: • Portfolio required • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite or other related space planning and rendering programs, with strong graphic and digital presentation skills. • Results driven with proven ability to motivate, influence and inspire a team. • Commitment to Quality with exceptional attention to detail. • Current with local and global design industry trends. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Applications. • Ability to travel locally. • Ability to lift and move small to medium items up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques. • Ability to maneuver effectively around a construction site. • Required – Tampa, FL 33609: Reliably commute or relocating before starting work. Responsibilities: • Independently create original designs for the interiors of residential spaces. • Determine design objectives with the in-house development team for individual space, considering the architecture, the environment, and the lifestyle of the project. • Use floor plans, sketches, and visual presentations to illustrate how the space will be interpreted. • Ensure fiscal goals are achieved through design projects and material selections. • Assist in meeting with the Architectural Design Teams. • Lead multiple design projects of various sizes simultaneously. • Successfully oversee all phases of the design concept through schematic level to final installation. • Assist the In-House Development and Construction Teams in all phases of the project as requested. • Coordinate the preparation of drawings and assist in the selection of color and finish schemes. • Prepare finish sample color boards. • Order finish samples. • Work with vendors and prepare material/fixture orders. • Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.
