Huniford Design Studio is hiring: Interior Design Intern in New York

Huniford Design Studio is seeking an interior design intern to join our office full-time. The ideal candidate will be organized, motivated, and eager to learn more about the roles and responsibilities of working in the industry. The position will offer knowledge of all aspects of design; will develop resource library knowledge, material research, documentation, rendering, presentation, and field experience. Applicants should reside in live in New York area and be able to begin work immediately. Responsibilities • Sourcing and researching items for projects as needed • Assist with development of presentations • Resource library maintenance and updating • Coordination of the intake of product samples and literature* • Manage project files and documentation • Participate in the projects’ in-house design review presentations • Communicate with vendors • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested Qualifications • Knowledge of AutoCAD • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Photoshop) • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) • Passionate about interior design • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
