About this role

Linden Creek: Linden Creek was designed as a brand that could spread through a variety of facets with one common goal - highlight beauty, one house at a time. Using a curated collection of furnishings, artwork, and accessories, our teams design spaces for elevated everyday living. Today, Linden Creek offers design services through home staging and interior design. In Jacksonville, we're a small, high-performing team that values clear communication, mutual respect, and a shared love of beautiful spaces. Calling You In: Do you instinctively fluff pillows, straighten frames, and mentally redesign every room you walk into? Do you get a little rush when a room comes together just right - down to the last candle? Are you the friend who gets asked to "just come over and make it look good"? If you see styling as both an art and a strategy - and you would love the hustle of install days - you're just our kind of person. Whether you're a seasoned stylist or someone who's always had "the eye," we believe talent can be trained - but passion is non-negotiable. If you're nodding along and thinking YES ME! - and you thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment where wins are celebrated and deadlines are met with flair - We'd be thrilled to have you help us shape something beautiful. If this role speaks to you but you don't check every box, we still encourage you to apply - passion and potential go a long way here. To apply, please submit your resume and a brief note about why this role speaks to you. Portfolio or photos of past styling work are welcome but not required. We're currently hiring for a part-time role, with the potential to grow into full-time as our team expands. Job Description: The Home Stylist supports the execution of home staging projects, working both independently and alongside teammates to ensure each installation reflects the Linden Creek brand aesthetic. Roles & Responsibilities: • Select and style furniture and accessories according to project needs. • Install and uninstall staging projects efficiently and on schedule. • Maintain the visual integrity and cleanliness of inventory used. • Ensure all styling is completed to Linden Creek brand standards. • Participate in inventory inspections and reporting. • Provide feedback on what's needed to maintain a high-performing staging inventory. • Taking accurate measurements, photographing the space, and collecting all information required. • Pull and prepare furniture and accessories for staging installs. • Unload and restock inventory in its proper condition and place. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. • Assist with quality control inspections of inventory items. • Report damaged or missing items promptly. • Operate inventory systems or tablets for tracking and organization. • Prepare physical marketing materials (packages and handwritten notes to clients). • Occasionally pick up inventory from local store. Ideal Traits: • Creative with a strong sense of aesthetics and spatial planning. • Productive and energetic, thrives in a fast-paced environment. • Organized and systematic in your approach to staging. • Poised, professional, and client-presentable. • Passionate about design and up-to-date on current home trends. • Flexible and solution-oriented when plans shift or challenges arise. Physical and Practical Requirements: This role involves active, hands-on work and travel within our surrounding area. Candidates should be comfortable with: • Lifting and relocating furnishings and decor as part of staging and warehouse operations (don't worry, a different team handles the majority of the HEAVY lifting for us!). • Navigating staging environments, including homes, warehouses, and vehicles. • Standing, bending, kneeling and climbing for extended periods during installs (think ladders, step stools, hanging art, etc.). • Driving locally for pickups or project support (valid license preferred). $17-$26/hour, based on experience and role scope. This role is open to both emerging and experienced stylists - we're hiring for team members who bring creativity, reliability, and a strong eye for detail. This description outlines the general scope and nature of the role. It's not an exhaustive list of tasks, responsibilities, or skills - and as a small business, team members may occasionally be asked to step outside their usual duties to support broader business needs.
