✨ Home Staging Designer / Interior Stylist Eastside, Seattle & Surrounding Areas $21 to $25 per hour DOE Full Time Important Role Expectations (Please Read Before Applying) This is a hands-on, physically active home staging role, not a traditional interior design or desk-based position. Our designers spend the majority of their day: • On their feet • Working in the warehouse and in homes • Lifting, carrying, unpacking, and installing staging items • Styling spaces in a fast-paced team environment This role also requires: • The ability to work until the job is complete (some days extend into late afternoon or early evening) • A team-first mindset, where everyone contributes to both design and physical setup If you are looking for a computer-based design role, fixed hours, or are not comfortable with physical work, this will not be the right fit. About Us We are a fast-paced, luxury home staging company based in Kirkland, serving the Eastside and Greater Seattle area. We specialize in creating elevated, cohesive spaces that help homes stand out in the market. Our work is highly visual, detail-driven, and collaborative. We take pride in creating spaces that feel refined, inviting, and designed to sell. The Role This is not a desk position. This is an active, hands-on role that combines design with physical installation work every day. Designers are involved in the full staging process, including: • Previewing homes and planning layouts • Pulling inventory from the warehouse • Installing and styling homes on site • Creating cohesive, photo-ready spaces You will rotate between leading and supporting projects depending on the day, but all team members are equally involved in the physical execution of each stage. What You Will Do • Select furniture, art, accessories, bedding, and décor for staging projects • Create layouts that enhance the home’s architecture and appeal to buyers • Pull and organize staging inventory from the warehouse • Unpack, install, and style homes efficiently and with attention to detail • Hang artwork professionally and safely • Layer styling elements to create a cohesive final look • Maintain organization in the warehouse and during installs • Collaborate with team members to execute staging projects • Communicate professionally with clients and agents when on site Schedule & Hours Full Time Monday through Friday 7:00 AM start time Hours vary based on project needs: • Slow season: 30 to 40 hours per week • Busy season: 35 to 50 hours per week • Some days extend to 4:00 to 6:00 PM depending on the stage Who This Role Is Perfect For • Someone who enjoys being active and working with their hands • Someone who prefers fast-paced days over sitting at a desk • Someone who enjoys both design and execution, not just concept work • Someone who takes pride in seeing a space fully transform This Role May Not Be the Right Fit If: • Those looking for a traditional interior design or desk-based role • Those who prefer fixed hours or leaving at a set time each day • Those not comfortable with physical work or a fast-paced environment Qualifications • At least 1 year of home staging or interior design experience • Strong understanding of layout, scale, and color coordination • Detail-oriented with a polished design eye • Positive attitude and strong work ethic • Team-oriented with strong communication skills • Comfortable working independently and taking direction • Reliable transportation required • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs • Must be punctual and reliable Position Benefits • 30 Day Trial Period • Paid Holidays • Mileage Reimbursement • Accrued Vacation Application Requirements Must live in Washington State Please include: • Resume • Cover letter explaining your interest in staging • Portfolio or examples of design/staging work (if available) Before applying, please confirm: • You are comfortable with physical, hands-on work • You are available to work until projects are complete • You are specifically interested in home staging (not just interior design) Apply here or send resume and cover letter: Email: Sabrina@KCDSTAGING.COM
