About this role

Currently 91% of our properties obtain viable offers within 30 days. We do occupied consultations, vacant packages, model home staging and interior design. As a Home Stager, the primary role is to provide the service of... preparing a house for resale by interacting with customers and Realtors to facilitate home staging services. Stagers will be expected to assist with occupied homes as well as vacant properties and work independently with customers for home consultations as well as implementing furniture and decor at vacant properties. Staging training is provided for the perfect candidate. This role requires a person who has the ability to help achieve a defined sales plan, develop new markets, and build and maintain client relationships. We offer the support of a proven business model, marketing, customer service, logistics support and home décor inventory for implementation of a staging job. A confidentiality agreement and non-compete is required upon acceptance of a job offer. Qualified applicants must have high integrity and want to be a significant contribution to our creative environment. Wages are determined based on demonstrated skill level and ability to grow a market. Each job has a “commission” payout. The more efficient a stager is, the higher the payout. This is a part time position. Flexibility with scheduling is also necessary as the workflow is not consistent from day to day. We have 2 positions open: (1) Novi/Canton/Northville area and (2) Chesterfield/Grosse Pt./Detroit area. Skills Requirements: · Physical ability and willingness to lift up to 50 lbs. · Embrace technology and a love for social media · Timely and effective communication · Sense of urgency and ability to make design decisions quickly · Organize paperwork related to stage, worksheets and checklists completed · Basic photography skills for before and after photos · Ability to find creative solutions to design and customer challenges · Flexible schedule - ability to shift as priorities shift · Integrity to honor commitments · Punctuality · Willingness to network and support new business development needs. · Attend networking events and conduct continuing education meeting, as needed The Home Stager is required to have a computer to submit time sheets and complete customer correspondence. Access to Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Smart phones with text capabilities required to communicate updates on timely basis. Candidate must have a phone or camera for photos. Professional attire required. (No jogging or exercise apparel accepted) Stagers are required to have their own toolbox for completing tasks, which includes hammer, minor cleaning supplies, nails, screwdriver, magic eraser, etc. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Schedule: • Monday to Friday Work Location: On the road
