Position Overview: As a Designer specializing in home remodeling, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients bring their dream spaces to life. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with clients to understand their vision, guiding them through the selection process, and providing comprehensive design support to our sales team. Key Responsibilities: • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their remodeling goals, preferences, and budget constraints. Utilize your keen eye for design to interpret their needs and translate them into creative and functional solutions. • Selection Assistance: Guide clients through the selection of materials, finishes, fixtures, and appliances, ensuring that their choices align with their aesthetic preferences, lifestyle, and budgetary considerations. • Design Development: Generate detailed design plans, layouts, and renderings using industry-standard software tools. Collaborate closely with our sales team to create compelling presentations that showcase the proposed design concepts and solutions. • Product Knowledge: Stay abreast of the latest trends, innovations, and products in the home remodeling industry. Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding suitable materials, products, and design trends. • Project Coordination: Work closely with our project management team to ensure seamless coordination and execution of design plans throughout the remodeling process. Address any design-related issues or modifications promptly to ensure client satisfaction. • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and fostering long-term relationships with clients. Strive to exceed client expectations at every stage of the remodeling journey. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred). • Proven experience in residential interior design, particularly in basements, bathrooms, and kitchens. • Proficiency in design software such as Design 2020, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and work well under pressure. • Detail-oriented with a passion for creative problem-solving. • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes is advantageous.
