We are seeking a Design Consultant to sell our residential window and door projects in the Mid-Michigan area (Mt Pleasant to South of Jackson). The position requires the design consultant to participate in an in-home selling presentation where they present our products and solutions to their exterior remodeling projects. This is a commissioned sales position and the design consultant must have reliable transportation to the daily pre-set appointments in our territory. All leads are pre-qualified, coming from local advertising. This is NOT a door-to-door position, and there is NO cold calling involved. Having prior experience with in-home selling is an advantage, and an understanding of window and door components, but there will be a training provided. Typically a design consultant participates in 1 to 2 scheduled appointments Monday through Friday and must be available two Saturdays a month for appointments as well. Candidate must have a valid drivers license and pass a background check along with a drug screening. Responsibilities Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions. Utilize negotiation skills to close sales and ensure customer satisfaction. Manage customer accounts and maintain relationships to foster repeat business. Perform product demonstrations and explain features to potential clients. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance service delivery. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
