Design Studio Specialist Role We are seeking an experienced Design Studio Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will possess excellent design skills, a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients. The role involves providing expert advice and guidance to customers on their home decor and design choices, utilizing design expertise to assist clients in one-on-one consultations, both in-store and in-home. This includes accurately measuring and assessing client living spaces, creating and presenting design plans based on client needs, style, preferences, and living space, and maintaining knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve and exceed established sales and productivity goals. Key Responsibilities: • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients through various channels including gift wrap, gift registry, locating merchandise, catalog/internet orders, special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders. • Utilize design expertise to create personalized design plans and present them to clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our design studio assortment. • Assist clients with selecting and purchasing products from our design studio collection, ensuring they understand the value proposition and how it meets their needs. • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new releases and trends, and being able to articulate the unique selling points of our products. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement. • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals. Requirements: • Proven experience in design or a related field. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Physical stamina to move around the store floor for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
