High End Residential Design Expert

Job Description: Our high-end residential design firm is seeking a seasoned Senior Interior Designer to join our team. This individual will work closely with our Director of Interior Design to deliver exceptional results and exceed client expectations. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for designing and presenting concepts, materials, and final presentations to clients and internal stakeholders. You will manage project timelines, benchmarks, and deliverables to meet our standards of excellence. You will specify and source FF&E, appliances, lighting, hardware, finishes, and accessories, maintaining accurate specifications and schedules. You will design and oversee custom millwork and furniture pieces, produce visual presentations, drawings, 2D/3D renderings, and layout plans. Collaboration with architects is essential to develop interior construction drawings and details. Site visits, vendor meetings, and weekly contractor coordination calls are also part of the role. Required Skills and Qualifications: • 8–10 years of professional experience in high-end residential design • Degree in Interior Design (FIDER-accredited 4-year program or equivalent experience) • NCIDQ Certified – Or willing to become NCIDQ Certified • Strong visual, verbal, and presentation communication skills • Ability to create and review detailed design drawings, schedules, and specifications • Strong understanding of architectural detailing, millwork, and construction documentation • Knowledge of luxury vendors, furnishings, finishes, and historical styles • Ability to lead site coordination and managing client relationships • Mentor junior level design staff • Proficient with AutoCAD LT, Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud & Bluebeam software Benefits: • Permanent Position with Benefits Others: Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
